Company: ATLAS Traffic Management Systems (ATLAS TMS) was born from of the acquisition of the Department of Transportation Service Business (MasTec ITS) of MasTec, Inc., a NYSE-traded company. ATLAS TMS is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a total of five offices throughout the state of Florida and six offices in the other states where the Company has operations. ATLAS TMS currently has approximately 400 employees with projects in ten states: Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Illinois and Tennessee. The Company's customer base consists of federal, state or local departments of transportation (DOTs) and prime contractors to DOTs for whom the Company performs work as a subcontractor. Position Overview: The Project Supervisor's responsibility is to provide direct management of field operations including planning, coordination and execution of daily tasks. The Supervisor will be responsible for delivering projects on budget, on time and for ensuring timely collection of cash. The Project Supervisor will be accountable for the successful execution and completion of projects and as such shall ideally be involved from the time the project is started through receipt of final payment and the closeout of the project. The Project Supervisor will report directly to the Project Manager.

• Responsible for verifying the layouts of structures, signs, etc prior to scheduling work


• Responsible for verifying that materials have been procured, stored and are available for work at the appropriate location


• Instill a culture of rigorous safety policies and practices in line with the Company's best-in-class safety requirements


• Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of all paperwork and reporting for your projects


• Work closely with the project mangers to review labor cost reports and to establish and monitor performance targets that you will manage to


• Verify As Builts for your projects


• Manage, utilizing the Company's tools and systems, the daily production log and events


• Supervise, train and manage the Foremen to best-in-class construction practices


• Manage the scheduling and welfare of your foremen, including vacation schedules


• Ensure that foremen have all tools, plans and manpower necessary to do complete their jobs efficiently and on time


• Manage your subcontractors to schedule, track production and hold sign-off responsibility


• Participate in weekly staff meetings with your project managers to proactively manage the activities of your job (project status, scheduling, material & submittal status and resource utilization)

• 2 Year Supervisory Construction Experience


• Excellent personnel management and motivation experience


• Demonstrable results in effectively leading profitable projects


• Level 2 IMSA Certification is preferred

• Highly-organized and a strong ability to handle parallel tasks

• Enjoys working under pressure with deadlines and structure
